Big Trucks. Big Smiles.
Touch-a-Truck is a fun San Juan Island tradition that gives children a chance to get up close and climb aboard the trucks and vehicles they see around our community.
Kids can explore fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, construction equipment and more — while meeting the local people who operate them.
It’s a fun, hands-on event that brings families and our community together.
Come climb aboard, honk a horn and discover what makes these big machines so special!
Halloween Candy Drive
Making Halloween Sweeter
The Kiwanis Club of Friday Harbor helps make Halloween special for children throughout our community with our annual Halloween Candy Drive. Kiwanis volunteers collect and distribute bags of Halloween candy to local children, spreading a little extra fun and making sure everyone can enjoy the holiday.
It’s a simple tradition that brings smiles, treats and community spirit to San Juan Island.

Santa Toy Drive
Making Christmas Brighter for Local Children
For more than 25 years, the Kiwanis Club of Friday Harbor has helped local families provide Christmas gifts for their children.
Our annual Toy Drive brings together island residents, businesses and volunteers to make the holidays brighter for children in our community.
We collect new, unwrapped toys, books, educational gifts and clothing, along with monetary donations to help meet the needs of local families.
Thank you to everyone who helps make this longtime San Juan Island tradition possible!
